Mountain Dream

By the hills of the prairie there are mountains
Mountains traveling high, descending low
Freezing snows wherever we go
The sound of ice under our feet
We look upon the prairie with hope
We can see the rolling, green hills from up above
Looking as if they are tumbling across the land
We hope this sight will remain forever
So that people will see the beauty of the land up high
I never knew how wonderful the prairie looked
Until you looked on a mountain.

Forest Fears

In the deep, dark forest,
The dark, dark forest,
No one should be standing alone.

But a very small child,
A small young child,
Doesn't know where he should go.

He hears the howl of a wolf,
The long, piercing howl,
But still can't find his way.

He yells for help
Help he hopes to get,
So he will no longer be alone.

Weather

We watch the weather on Channel 69,
To see if it will rain or shine.
We love the weather so,
It is told by a guy named Joe.
Now, some weather brings lots of fear,
You never know what might appear.
Do you want to play in the snow?
But the weather says it is 20 below!
Now that you know about the weather,
I hope that it was a lot of fun,
Someday be a meteorologist,
And learn about the sun.
